Time to expand my range a bit by branching out into the real world and getting my hands dirty.

The stencil was made with acetate and a burning tool (I'm too lazy to use a scalpel). Photoshop helped a bit with the background.

Hi hiddenmoves,
Your stencils are great! Is that a guilloche? Are you ever thinking about selling them as wall decal?
Itīs an interesting new wall art design and we are just starting a project where Artists around the world can offer there vector graphics. Itīs named TapeRay.
And the best for you as an artist is, that you can decide how much you want to have per artwork square meters.
You can ask me, if you have problems to convert your artworks to vector graphics.
It’s really easy and I can do that for you.
Please contact me (marcel@taperay.com) or have just a look at [link]

All the best, cheers
Marcel

waitwaitwait, you said you use a burning tool for this? I've been slaving with scalpels for 3 years now and I've got some SERIOUS blisters on my hands. DO let me in on this little lazyman's method of yours!

Got one of these, although I don't stencil much anymore. [link]

As you can imagine, best to use with acetate or something similar; not good with any material that burns easily. But, if you're like me, you may be trading blisters for burns. Also, watch out for fumes and keep well ventilated.

OOooh! Crikey I completely forgot these things existed these days. I remember using them when I was a wee lass back in school. That is so going to be my next investment- burns over blisters any day mate haha.
